As a kid I was always reading books that featured summer vacation hijinks at the 'summer home'. The towns I read about and imagined looked a lot like Nantucket. Nantucket is seriously picturesque - old homes, ocean views, and gorgeous greenery all make up the gorgeous landscape. We took the ferry over to Nantucket one day from the Cape and spent the day exploring the island on foot.

Admission, the next three photos weren't actually taken in Nantucket but rather on the ferry ride home... Forgot to include them in with the Cape Cod post, oops!
